A to Z Retail-Ready: Free Bar Code
Another way A to Z Media helps you get your music out to the public by providing a free barcode number and graphic to allow for increased sales and visibility of your release. When A to Z Media packages your CD, you receive a certified UPC barcode that will enable you to register with SoundScan retailers and distributors.

A UPC barcode is how retailers and distributors track sales and inventory. There is a fee involved from the Uniform Code Council to register your barcode and a few forms needed that we will gladly help you navigate through. If you will not be selling your CD through stores at this time, you don’t need to have a barcode. In addition, barcodes can be applied at a later date as a sticker.
